The Private Room, located on the second floor above the restaurant, has beautiful hardwood floors, limestone walls, and a custom-made mesquite and cedar wood bar. There is a dramatic colorful cascade of Mexican blown glass teardrop and heart shapes suspended from the ceiling enhanced by led light panels. The ceiling is adorned with verses from select poetry and favorite lyrics, hand-painted by a true artist.
The room is surrounded by floor to ceiling paned windows giving the space wonderful light in the daytime and spectacular views of Historic La Villita, the San Antonio Convention Center, Hemisfair Park and the Tower of the Americas.
There is a stage area which may be used for a DJ, or small band along with an in-house sound system including a Crown receiver capable for connection to a computer or iPod, as well as a cordless microphone. Wireless internet service is available and audiovisual equipment can be arranged upon request.
