In addition to our main dining room, the Guadalajara Grill offers a unique private venue that is ideal for private dinners, parties, weddings and corporate events including meeting and cocktail receptions.
Located in a registered historic landmark, the elegant venue is a beautiful setting available for parties of 20-95 guests. For larger events of up to 250 the downstairs restaurant space and patio area may also be available.
The Private Room, located on the second floor, has beautiful hardwood floors, limestone wall, and a custom-crafted mesquite and cedar wood bar. There is a dramatic colorful cascade of Mexican blown glass teardrop and heart shapes suspended from the ceiling enhanced by LED light panels. The ceiling is adorned with verses from select poetry and favorite lyric hand painted by a true artist and friend. The room is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling paned windows giving the space wonderful light in the daytime and spectacular night views of historic La Villita, the San Antonio Convention Center, Hemisfair Park and the Tower of the Americas.
There is a stage area which may be used for a DJ, small band, Mariachi or audio-visual presentation. Also available is an in-house sound system including a Crown receiver capable of connection to a computer or iPod, and a cordless microphone. Wireless internet service is available and audiovisual equipment can be arranged upon request.
